Lot #793 Letter FDR (good WW II content) Cond: 9

Nice FDR TLS, this is dated August 3, 1940 on White House letterhead. Framed with the transmittal envelope, this displays very well. Interesting letter, this is written to a New York lawyer offering to help with FDR's 1940 Presidential campaign, but FDR writes in part: As you know, I myself, am so greatly occupied with the international and defense problems that I will be able to take little or no active part in the campaign. Signed fully Franklin Roosevelt at the close, solid piece. JSA LOA (full).
