Lot #111 1889 N338-2 S.F. Hess Curt Welch Cond: PSA 1

Great 19th century issue, these hardly ever come to market. The offered card has a fine photo and displays very well. Interesting tidbit, Welch played for the Athletics in 1889 and for the Browns in 1887, so the card company must have used an older photo. There is no paper loss on the back, but a scrape by the lower left corner on the front and wear at the top two corners keep this at a rather pleasing 1. This is an outstanding type-card
