Lot #49 1954 Bowman Complete Set Cond: VG to VG-Ex

Undervalued set, this is from a hobby old timer. Pleasing and consistent VG to VG-Ex set, there are a few cleaner cards scattered about, nothing needs to be upgraded here. We sent the Mantle into PSA recently, it is well centered with no visible creases, very subtle surface wear by the upper right corner led to the rather harsh 2 grade. We grade the key cards as follows: 1 Rizzuto GVG ctd, 6 N Fox VG-Ex, 15 Ashburn VG-Ex/Ex, 58 Reese VG+, 64 Mathews VG+, 65 Mantle PSA 2 (tough grade), 66.2 Piersall VG, 89 Mays PSA 4.5, 90 Campanella VG+, 101 Larsen RC VG+, 132 Feller VG-Ex/Ex, 138 Hodges VG, 145 Martin VG-Ex/Ex, 161 Berra VG-Ex/Ex, 170 Snider Ex and 177 Ford VG-Ex/Ex.
