Lot #16 1952 Topps # 261 Willie Mays Cond: PSA 4

A vital Topps card, it amazes me how low of a percentage these trade at compared to the always commercially available 1952 Topps Mantle. The offered card has a strikingly fine image, with perfect focus showing the vitality of this world class player. The color is terrific, the borders are clean, the back is very nice. Centered to the left border, we cannot see any creases or wrinkles, even under magnification. The corners come to points and look to be Ex-Mt overall, there is wear at just one spot on the back on the left border. Overall, this is a very solid card, conservatively graded, notable for its color and image quality. This is an ideal card for any mid-grade 1952 Topps set or star card collection.
