Lot #5 2009 New York Yankees World Series Ring in Original Box

The final Jeter-Rivera Yankee World Championship team, this was also a historic run as it was the first year of the new Yankee Stadium. Carried by Alex Rodriguez at the top of his game, this was the last Yankee World Championship team. Offered is a very attractive size 8.5 14 karat gold ring. Issued to a Richard L259Smith, this would almost certainly have been a front office person. The ring is bright and clean, it has a large blue stone on the face with NY in diamonds above it. One flank reads 2009 World Champions, the other Smith Yankees Tradition. The interior has a Balfour engraving and a 2009 Yankees seal. Good piece.
