Very, very neat item, this is not your typical sports coin. Produced by Balfour, in a very limited quantity of 333, this is number 147. This was a special edition to celebrate the retirement of the legendary Larry Bird from the Celtics. The coin is a pure 24 karat gold coin with fine images of Larry on the front and career highlights on the back. It comes in a very attractive custom case. This is a great item to add to any Boston Celtic or basketball memorabilia collection. Rare, we could only find a public sale for one of these little treasures back in 2012.
