Lot #484 Jackson, Andrew 1831 Land Grant Cond: 8

A famed and always controversial President, his autograph is always very popular among collectors. Offered is an original Land Grant dated June 1, 1831. This was issued to a Henry Rudisail of Petty County, Maryland. The document exhibits a fair amount of general wear, especially along the left side. Other condition issues are present (including a small hole) but the signature of Jackson is not affected. The Presidential seal is fully intact, the Jackson autogaph measures six inches long and contrasts nicely against the document. Elegantly matted and framed (with no glass), this weighty and sturdy frame measures 29x17. JSA LOAA.
