A legendary card, the Goudey company did not issue this card in 1933, avid collectors had to write to Goudey in 1934 to complete their sets. An incredible bargain in this market relative to the T206 Plank and other key cards, this is something that may dramatically change in the future as a new generation of collectors lust after 1933 Goudey sets. The offered card is simply ideal for the grade. This has has excellent centering, rich color and a gorgeous image. The corners show moderate and consistent wear, there is mild creasing that does not crack the paper on the right side of the card. The back is clean, save for one word written in ink. Who wants to have a truly complete 1933 Goudey set?
