One of the key 19th century cards of this important HOFer, these are revered by collectors. Freshly slabbed by PSA, we feel this should have received a 1 grade. We do not know what they deemed to be an alteration here. The card has three creases on the front that barely crack the paper, there is a subtle pinhole by the top black border and some three fine surface scrapes. The corner wear is moderate and consistent. The card retains an attractive image and solid display value. The back is clean, with some creasing and no visual wear to the black background. This is a card that could well receive a numeric grade from another grading service (we only submitted this to PSA).
