Ruth is posed with a player in uniform to his right and an unidentified person in formal attire to his left. Ruth signed this as follows: To CW Duncan (spelling?) From Babe Ruth Aug 12, 1933. The signature is in solid dark fountain pen ink. The placement is perfect, the writing and signature contrast nicely against the clean image. We believe this is likely a type one photo, but we cannot guarantee that. Of note, this game was played against the might Philadelphia A s, the Yanks lost the game 11-9.
