An amazing item, offered is a spotless half page TLS on Philadelphia Athletics letterhead. Dated July 15, 1946 this is written to Tom Fleming by Connie Mack. The content reads in part: ...and advise you that Tom Turner considers pitcher Roberts a likely prospect. I would appreciate your sending him into Shibe Park, sometime after the close of the Northern League season.
